| Class of 1998- Since graduating from Kearney High School, the University of Nebraska at Kearney, and the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry, Jordan Cochran has developed an outstanding dental practice in the Kearney Area. In addition to her commitment to career and family, she and husband Brian are well-recognized community supporters. Helping to start CLASS Act under the Kearney Public Schools Foundation, Jordan served as a member of its board, as board president, and as its director. Since its inception, CLASS Act has invested over $2 million in Kearney Public Schools buildings and teachers. Her commitment to Kearney Public Schools also led her to serve on the Kearney Public Schools Foundation Board. Jordan has served the broader Kearney Community as a member of the Kearney Area Community Foundation board, and as a committee member for various efforts at Kearney Public Schools, First Lutheran Church, and the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Her remarkable drive, energy and enthusiasm have made a tremendous impact on the community and education at Kearney Public Schools. For all her accomplishments, we are proud to name her the 2024 Distinguished Graduate. |
