Class of 1952 - The level of success achieved by Michael Yanney is beyond imagination. As the founder of Burlington Capital Group and many other businesses & organizations, Mike is recognized throughout the State of the Nebraska, the United States of America, and around the World as a leader in investing and promoting agriculture. Mike believes that "success is not measured in what is collected but in what is given," and with his wife Gail has been recognized for his generous philanthropy. The Kearney community has several beautiful projects for which we can thank the Yanney's. Mike credits his success to his education; beginning with Kearney Public Schools and continuing to Kearney State College (University of Nebraska at Kearney). Kearney Public Schools is proud to name him our 2017 Distinguished Graduate. |
