Mr. Kropp's 3D Printers
Our new 3D printers from Class Act allow our students to see their designs come to life. In Mr. Kropp's 7th grade class, we have a module involving 3D printing and the design process. Students learn how to use a software called TinkerCAD which allows them to use basic shapes to create their designs. Our two new printers offer a much higher quality print and allows all of our students the chance to print their own designs. Thank you CLASS Act for your donation!
Rolling Fold Top Tables
Music and art share a room at Park, and we have very different needs for the room. Music needs space to spread out and dance, while art needs tables to work on. Our new rolling fold top tables from Class ACT make it a breeze to transition the room from music class to art class! Thank you Class ACT!
One School, One Book Program
"Receiving a grant for our One School, One Book program was so impactful for our students and their families at Bryant Elementary. The community it built in school was contagious and brought so many of us together over the love of reading. At home, parents and kids were reading a book together and connecting over the events of a story. Countless parents told us how much they enjoyed the time with their children and planned to make reading together a new habit at home. Our end of book celebration brought so many families to school one afternoon to have fun together. It will always be an amazing memory for the students and their families of Bryant because of the grant we were given" says Holly French, a fourth grade teacher at Bryant Elementary.

Bearcat Bakery Cart
Bearcat Bakery (and Beverages) Cart officially opened on August 31, 2023. This entrepreneurial endeavor was made possible by the generous support of the CLASS ACT funds. This student-led business features baked goods and beverages selected and prepared by advanced foods classes. Students in Culinary Arts are the first recipients of the experience which promotes the implementation of foodservice management principles by developing a business and marketing plan and compute the costs of food products and pricing strategies to make a profit. Prices are set to reflect the cost of goods while allowing a profit.
Faculty and staff are able to purchase a punch card and then buy the products one day a week from the cart. Future plans are to have the cart at events such as the parent-teacher conferences.
